Whether you are a beginner or a novice, a trainer can help you reach your fitness goals. A personal trainer can be just what you need to hold you accountable, create new and fun workouts, and help you achieve your goals.
Training Options
With 1:1 training, your personal trainer will provide physical and mental guidance and monitor your progress regularly, all while ensuring your safety to prevent injuries while training
Semi-private sessions allow participants to work in a group setting while receiving the attention of a personal trainer. This workout consists of up to five people.
Amanda Barnett
Founder of Thrive Fitness/Trainer
Amanda has been the owner of Lacon Fitness and Tan since 2008. After graduating from Illinois State University with a degree in Exercise Science, she dedicated herself to helping others achieve their fitness goals.
In 2021, Amanda launched Thrive Fitness, inspired by the positive impact of creating workouts and holding members accountable. Her passion for fitness doesn’t stop there—Amanda is also deeply committed to nutrition and holds a certification in the field.
Amanda’s dedication to health makes her a standout leader in our community. We’re thrilled to have her expertise and enthusiasm guiding us towards healthier lifestyles!
Owen Franks
Trainer
Additionally, Owen is a certified personal trainer, demonstrating his commitment to professional excellence. He is also pursuing a degree in Physical Therapy, reflecting his dedication to advancing his knowledge and skills in the health and wellness field.
Aimee Kiesewetter
Trainer
Aimee began her journey in the gym at the age of 6 as a gymnast, eventually transitioning into competitive tumbling. After retiring from tumbling, she found herself missing the conditioning work at the gym. While attending ICC for her Physical Therapist Assistant Program, she taught gymnastics classes and later became a Physical Therapy Assistant, working in that field for 15 years.
In early 2023, Aimee joined Thrive and fell in love with their workout style and the idea of helping others achieve their health and wellness goals. This inspired her to pursue a Personal Trainer certification through the International Sports Science Association.
Married to her husband Jeremy for 24 years, they have two sons and enjoy jeeping, traveling, and supporting their sons in various sports. Aimee’s extensive experience in physical therapy makes her an invaluable member of the Thrive team.
