Founder Story

My fitness journey began at 17 when I discovered my passion for helping others improve their lives through exercise. I have a degree in Exercise Science from Illinois State University and have owned Lacon Fitness and Tan since 2008. In 2021, I launched Thrive Fitness to focus on effective workouts and promoting accountability. I also have a certification in nutrition and over 20 years of personal training experience.

Outside of the gym, I enjoy my roles as a wife, mom of three, and dog mom of two. I love embarking on family adventures, whether it’s a vacation or a few hours at the local pool. I prefer morning workouts, especially when accompanied by a friend.

As a mom and busy professional, I understand how tough it can be to stay on top of fitness goals while juggling the demands of family and work. But trust me, it’s attainable, and we’ve got plenty of amazing Thrive family members who can vouch for that!
