Member of the Month – Kelsy Fitschen
Kelsy is a wife, mother, and works 2 jobs! She still finds time to workout which has inspired so many people. She first caught our attention during 5k training. She worked so hard and has kept up with her running even after 5k training was over. She continues to improve her running speed and has recently placed in her age group and PR’d at her last 5k. She works so hard and it is paying off!
LFT: How long have you been working out and how did you get into it?
Kelsey: I have been working out for a year off and on, but I really started getting into it when I did the 5k training here.
LFT:You work and have a young child. You are busy, but still make it to the gym, how?
Kelsey: I really had to talk myself into it at first! Haha! But I really look forward to my gym time. It’s my me time and my way to burn off any stress. I drive straight to the gym after work so I can’t talk myself out of it.
LFT: Cardio vs. Strength which is your favorite?
Kelsey: I really hated running before the 5k training, but now that I know how to run properly it has changed my mind. I really enjoy cardio more!
